The members of the newly formed TopVette Corvette Club would like to invite you to participate in their annual "Fun Display", Sunday, August 17, 2008. We invite you to cruise your show vehicle (car, truck, motorcycle, etc.) to Bonnie Castle Resort, Alexandria Bay NY, for a Fun Display. This year you have a choice of two registrations. You can choose to cruise on the "Bonnie Belle Thousand Island Boat Cruise", relax near the water or walk downtown. Vehicles will be parked on the lawns of Bonnie Castle Resort, next to the St. Lawrence River. You will be overlooking the beautiful, historic, Boldt Castle and the Thousand Islands.
Display Field will open at 9:00 am and registrations will be accepted until 12:00 pm. Display begins at 10:00 am. All vehicles must be on the display field prior to 12:00 pm to be eligible for this event. Remember that this will be a "Fun Display". Awards will be presented for Sponsor picks and Bonnie Castle Choice pick. No official judging will take place.
All show vehicles may join in the Pirate's Day Weekend Parade, starting at 2:00 pm. They will be escorted from Bonnie Castle Resort, around downtown Alexandria Bay, and back to Bonnie Castle Resort. Be sure to mention to the parking attendants, upon arrival, if you want to participate in the parade so you won't be blocked in.
Prior to the Parade, there will be only one Boat Cruise, around the scenic Thousand Islands, leaving the dock at 12:00 pm sharp. This cruise is offered to participants that register to include the boat cruise, limited to the first 150 individuals signed up. This registration will include 2 tickets. Additional Boat Cruise tickets many be purchased, upon availability. (Adult & children tickets $7.00 each, obtained at the registration booth.) The Boat Cruise is approximately one hour long.
Awards will be presented immediately following the Pirate's Day Parade. Participant door prizes will be given away throughout the day and posted at the registration booth.
